New PhD Graduates
31 May 2013
Volcanic Risk Solutions’ Marco Brenna and Natalia Pardo are now fully fledged Drs after being awarded their PhDs at a graduation ceremony in May 2013.
Marco’s PhD was on the geological evolution and volcanism of Jeju Island, South Korea, which is an analogue for the Auckland Volcanic Field, and Natalia’s research focused on the Maximum Likely Eruptions of Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand. Both Marco and Natalia have published results from their PhDs in international journals, and have spoken about their research at international conferences.
Congratulations Dr Brenna and Dr Pardo!
